We do not allow the following on any of our servers. Any account(s) found breaking our policies will be removed and canceled without notice. • Spamming (sending unsolicited email or posting messages to irrelevant UsetNet newsgroups that do not explicitly allow advertising, with references to a site hosted on our servers) • Sites, sites encouraging illegal activity or racism, sites providing instructions or performing illegal activities. Any site conducting illegal activities and / or copyright infringements. • Violations and attempted violations of system & network security. Or any type of tampering with the system with the purpose to inflict harm. • Peer to Peer / Portal and upload and download type sites related to hacking and wares. •Swearing and/or insulting any oz-au.net staff member will not be tolerated. Any account found breaking the above policies will be suspended or terminated immediately.
Reseller Hosting: Remember that if you sell hosting on our servers you are responsible for what your clients do. It is your responsibility to monitor your clients to ensure that you enforce our TOS. If your clients are found repeatedly breaking our TOS that result in illegal activities, or server downtime, that this will put your account in jeopardy.
Media Server - Multi-media hosting eg: streaming video, streaming audio, radio, shout cast, pod cast, can include chat and shout box. We currenlty do have a multi-meida server so we can offer this type of hosting. Gaming / Clan Server - Gaming servers / hosting usually use intensive server resources and require gaming servers or VPS. We currenlty do have gaming servers so we can offer this type of hosting (On VPS SERVERS).
The Internet is a powerful information and entertainment tool, we would expect our customers to use the Internet with respect, courtesy, and responsibility, giving due regard to the rights of other Internet users. Our acceptable use policy is actively and strictly enforced. Offending content or users are removed from our network, usually as soon as they are discovered, although we will always inform you when and why any action has been taken. Common sense is the best guide as to what is considered acceptable use, however the following are unacceptable uses. Illegality: In any form, including but not limited to the unauthorized distribution or copying of copyrighted software or other data, harassment, fraud, or trafficking in obscene material. Undesirable Content: Certain types of content are not permitted on our network. We do not host pornographic content of any description. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes pornographic content and what does not (see adult sites below). Content relating to Hacking, Cracking, Warez and IRC is not allowed. Software downloads may only be hosted if you are the writer and copyright owner of the software, all other software including freeware, shareware and trial software is forbidden. The sale of resellable eBooks is ok. Download files must be hosted on our download server. Bulk Email: The use of our network to send bulk email whether opt-in or otherwise, and the use of bulk email to promote a site on our network is strictly forbidden. As a guideline, we consider sending over 200 emails a day as bulk email. Misuse Of Resources: Including but not limited to employing applications which consume excessive CPU time, memory or storage space. Chat/IRC, web proxy and mailing list scripts are not allowed on our network under any circumstances. Streaming media, audio, video and shout cast can be a drain on web server resources and as such is not allowed. CGI based message forums which use flat file databases are often found to use excessive system resources, to avoid disappointment please use a PHP message forum. The use of web cam applications which maintain a constant FTP connection uploading an image at regular intervals is forbidden. Password Protected Directories: Using password protected directories to conduct illegal activities is strictly prohibited. Sites that use password protected directories where their use is not clear are subject to suspension while we investigate the legality of the hidden content. Download Files: Collections of download files are not permited on shared web servers because they slow the server down. A reasonable amount of download files can be permitted if you keep the file size under 2000 k . Download files must be hosted on our download server. Pornographic Media: all models are over 18 are permitted. Excessive Server Resources: HYIP (High Yield Investment Programs), Ponzi schemes or pyramid schemes are not permitted on our network. Our web servers may not be used to provide proxy servers. All content stored on a reseller account must be directly used on the Internet by the website associated with that account. These accounts may not be used as a download distribution point for your software or media. They are to be used for standard web practices only. This means that all content stored on an unlimited account must be used for "acceptable" website use. “Unacceptable” usage is anything that a shared server would not be able to provide under standard circumstances and uses a high percentage of CPU or Memory (10%+) usage. If you are unsure about content you intend to place on our network, please check with us before you do. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes acceptable use.
When we say unlimited disk space and bandwidth, of course there are terms & conditions that you must adhere to. This means unlimited webpages, domains and web graphics, not downloads or streaming media. Our servers are shared web hosting servers and memory and CPU usage is not unlimited. CPU intensive files are not permitted on our servers and accounts may not to be used to host a collection of mp3s, audios, videos, anime, .rar files, Warez, gamers sites, shout cast and similar, or to backup your computer or another source. They may not be used for general storage of any type. They may not be used as download mirrors or download/upload portals. While the sale of eBooks and other legal small download files are permitted within reason (see download files above) with the unlimited package, hosting and storage of mass quantities where our servers are used as a distribution point is not permitted. Download files must be hosted on our download server. Free hosting is not permitted. WHM Reseller Hosting Packages
All of the above also applies with this package. Our WHM packages are only one level deep. This means that you are only permitted to sell hosting packages with Cpanel. You are not allowed to sell packages that allow others to sell reseller packages with WHM. Any reseller found selling Sell-WHM packages two levels deep will be terminated.
Illegality: Illegal files in any form are not permitted on the download server, including but not limited to the unauthorized distribution or copying of copyrighted software or other data, harassment, fraud, or trafficking in obscene material.
If you are on a monthly hosting package you can cancel your service anytime, we do not have any contracts. If you purchased an annual package you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase if you account was not suspended due to breaking any of our policies. You can view our return policy here. Canceling your PayPal or 2CheckOut subscription may result in immediate cancellation of your hosting account regardless of any remaining time left that you have pre-paid for. Be sure that you have copies of your web files before you cancel your hosting.
Although regular remote back-ups will be performed (some servers have local backups), oz-host will not be held responsible for any loss of data.
